There’s already two existing suggestions discussing what you’re describing in yours. Please comment/vote in those in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.
If I have my movies filed in folders by type and I want to quickly add a collection tag to all of them, I have to manually select each one before I can do that. i can deselect easily but I can’t select them quickly. This would be a huge timesaver for people who also file their media in folders this way.
Current:
Selecting multiple items in a playlist only gives the option to remove from the playlist.
Proposed:
Selecting multiple items in a playlist gives access to the same editing features as exist in collection views, including Edit and Mark as Played.
Why:
Firstly, because playlist sharing is not a feature but collections do work across users/friends, this would be a way to share playlists without needing the full feature. Secondly, it seems logical that from any view you should be able …
