In my music library it is not allowing me to change the artists. It is showing as Garth Brooks; Trisha Yearwood when it should only be Garth Brooks. What do I do?
How are you trying to change the artist?
You should be able to click on the Edit symbol (
) for either a track or the album and change its content.

I can change it through the edit button. Once i save the change it goes bsck to the original deyail in about 30 to 60 seconds. What do I do?
when you change it… will the entry be locked?
do you have Plex configured to use the embedded metadata from within the file?
No lock on the line. All other info is accurate and does not need change
try again and see that the line is locked.
There is no lock on the artist line however there is a lock on the album line and sort album line
