My channels are all over the place which makes it hard to find a specific channel, is it possible to list the channels in order from one to say 1800 possibly with call letter or such?
For now try the HDHR viewer plug-in hopefully Plex will add some ways to do that in the future.
That is if you use HDHomerun
I’ve added the plugin to the plugins folder, how do I configure it?
If installed correctly…
Select Plugins -
And hover over your plugin and select the cog wheel

Here you can configure stuff like lists of favorite channels and order them.

I assumed that was the place to look but after adding to the plugins folder as outlined I still don’t have those options or the plugin, does the server require a reboot?
It might need to be restarted to pick up the plugin, sorry I installed it years ago so do not remember.
Also make sure that file has permissions set so it can be accessed.
Yep, a restart was needed, this should be added into Plex, much better look and feel, the icons all over the page is clunky!
This effectively bypasses Plex DVR right? I mean I can’t use it with a built in Haupauge tuner?
Correct this is a HDHomerun specific plugin that can only be used with that manufacturers tuner…
The HDHR plugin is glitchy for me when loading channels, some of the HD channels never load unless I reboot the HDHomerun Prime and Plex, I like the look though and wish Plex would have channel numbers or a different view rather than seasons for channels. When I use Plex to change channels there is no issue, I just am not keen on the view in Plex. Is there any plans to have different views available to users? I’m, on my 1 month trial at the moment for Plex Pass but a better view would sway me to be a buyer.
See this post…
Hopefully soon.
I hope so, this is an issue for my wife allowing me to purchase Plex Pass Lifetime.
I think alot of husband’s are in the same boat.
I am not sure an EPG is worth paying ~200 a month to stay with your current provider but hopefully something comes out soon for this.
I’d rather put that 200 lots of other places and be patient but I have heard this from many folks.
