Using WD My Cloud Home as a Plex Server (as an aside, not recommended but that’s another story).
Agent for TV Shows: In the options I can set preferences for TheTVDB and TheMovieDB. However, on my TV Show Library I can choose from Plex Movie(for which I have no settings anywhere) or TheMovieDB

My first question is - if a show won’t download stuff, should I be checking TheTVDB for it so I can find it properly? If I try and manually match a file it does show TheTVDB as an option for search, but not as a library agent.

Second question - The show is called Insectibles from 2015. It’s all correctly named, I did the Plex Dance on the whole library and then just that show to no avail. When I scan it, it won’t match. I can manually match it, but no metadata downloads. My problem now (related to my first question) is where can I check if there’s metadata? If I check TheMovieDB they do have the show but very little data. If I check TheTVDB they have the full show and data and posters. I have no idea where to check the Plex Movie DB.
Sorry if it’s a bit of a 2-part question but for me, they’re related to me not being able to figure out how to get the metadata from TheTVDB to download correctly.
