My plex media player on my PC has stopped displaying video. Audio still works

Video no longer displays on the Windows HTPC client on my PC. I’m running Windows 11 Home. I have an nVidia 3090 graphics card. I note that whenever I start a video using the client a notification from nvidia comes up telling me I can start a performance overlay using Alt-z. This is new. I recently updated the nvidia driver. Video displays properly if I watch the video using a browser.
