My plex on firestick keeps crashing

i just got plex for my firestick and whenever i try to move across episodes from my server it just exits i tried reinstalling it which did not change anything and then i tried using adb to install older version which would only crash on starting the app

Mind sharing what version of FireStick this is and what version of their OS you have installed. Also… what version of the Plex app do you have installed?

i have plex version 8.27
its a firestick gen 2
and im not sure of the fire os version
