You helped me once before so I’m hoping you may be able to again.
My Plex server seems to be completely offline/unavailable, even though it is plugged in and switched on. I haven’t changed anything. Was wondering if there was anything on your side with Plex that may have changed to cause this, or if you have some advice on how to get it back? I’ve followed all the troubleshooting prompts.

does the server show as running in menu bar? if it is in menu bar what happens when you choose “Open Plex…” from there? Can you access it via localip:32400/web ?
Hi, thanks for the reply. After some googling I see that this is a recurrent problem with PMS on Nvidia Shield. The server simply disappeared. I cant access via localip:32400/web, and can no longer see it in the Plex settings. I tried deinstalling and reinstalling Plex on my Shield and I get as far as being able to set it up but it just hangs on the ‘a plex server is starting for the first time, please wait’ for hours.
I did hear one post online talking about a hotfix that was available if you entered your Shield seriel number online, but this seems to be no longer available. I really hope I dont have to buy a whole new unit.
