My Plex server is struggling to run 4k in original quality to my 4k tv. I'm seeking some help

My specs are fx 6300, 8gb ram, r9 270 gpu. I have windows and plex installed on an SSD and all my media is on separate internal HDDs.

I’ve seen other people running the same spec computer with no issues running 4k, but mine buffers every 30 seconds or so and I don’t know what to do.

I have hardware encoding enabled and I have it set to original quality on the TV.

Any ideas?

How is your TV connected to the network? If wireless that may be your issue.

Also as a side note that most TVs will not pass all audio formats so your audio may be transcoded.
