My server is throwing transcoder eac3_eae errors non stop when its Detecting Intros and I can't find the reason!

Server Version#: 1.21.2.3943
Player Version#: 4.51.1Plex Media Server Logs_2021-02-06_03-23-58.zip (2.6 MB)

OS:Ubuntu Mint

I already doubled the Inotify table just in case even tho I cant find a Inotify table maxed log anywhere. I still have the problem(its happening for some days now).
Im freaking out because I cant seem to trace the problem!
I migrated my server from my nas to Windows Installation and then into my Mint server*(wsl2 docker was eating A TON OF RAM so I migrated again same day)

Edit: The files btw play just fine I dont have any errors to direct play them.
Edit2: I opened the folder it says it cant read on console and even gave the tmp pms folder recursive plex:plex perms. It still says it cant load the .wav files. I can see the files get generated and then deleted for the files with the next number to be created and deleted. Is my plex installation completely broken? Should I start my plex server from scratch  I think that something is fully broken from the migration thats why the EAE is not working.

  1. Please turn DEBUG logging back on. INFO/ERROR - only doesn’t help us. We only get tons of this which isn’t helpful.

  1. There are reports of EAE issues. We’ve recreated a few but not sure why.

Main questions:

  1. Do you have more than 8192 directories in use for media ?
  2. What’s local and what’s on network shares?

1.Scroll to the bottom you should see the debug log. If it’s not there I can produce a new one I guess but I’m sure I turned debug logging on for more than 5 minutes so you have enough samples to spot.

  1. Only my library(movies, anime, music, tv series) is on share. The lib of plex is local to the computer. I don’t think I have over 8k watched dirs but just to be safe I doubled the limit of inotify.

Is there anything more I can provide you with so you can pinpoint the problem so we learn what causes the eae issues? I would be happy to contribute in any way.

Since having doubled the amount inotify can carry, have you restarted PMS?

Your logs don’t show me enough of what I need. Almost, but not quite.

Would you mind giving PMS a restart,
let it sit for 2-3 minutes for all of inotify to load,
then do a playback attempt?

That way, everything will be in the first PMS log.

Yeah of course multiple times too!

I just did that I also enabled “Use hardware acceleration when available” just to be sure that (Use hardware-accelerated video encoding was already on)

Right now its transcoding Sword Art Online S03 Intros without throwing any errors… Is my stupidity for having Hw accel off the reason of the errors :frowning: ???

Im also pasting the logs just to be sure. If you see anything weird in my logs please tell me to fix it!

These are timeout errors trying to talk to plex.tv

My Internet connection is a bit unstable for the last 3 hours. And I tried to connect to my plex server over 4G to check if I can stream Hevc, is this it? these errors a hours ago do I still get the at the bottom of the log?

I cannot see what’s outside the app from the logs.

If you’re connecting via 4G or 4 Gbps Fiber – I would not be able to see it.

When the default, main, service is available – then proceed with investigation.
