My son is the Plex home Administrator how do I unwind this?

I have a Plex account and each time I log in I am greeted with two users myself and my son who is wearing a crown. My son has a Plex pass and I do not. We both have our own servers, I am using a QNAP and he is running a server straight from his PC.

I don’t like the Idea that my son is my administrator and feel that the two accounts ought to be separate with each granting the other access to our servers.

Is there a way to un-join the two accounts? We share the same household and so both use the same smart TV. I don’t quite understand the benefit or otherwise of joining the two accounts. If someone can explain it to me I would be very happy.

He does not have administrator rights to your server, just the home ( he is the only one that will be able to add/create managed users and invite others to it basically). You can still share your server with whatever regular accounts you want

The benefit of being in a home is so you can use the fast user switcher and not have to log out and back into other account everytime you want to use the same TV after the they do.

If he has a Plex Pass and you are in his Home you also get to use the mobile apps for free.

Leave his home by clicking on the X at the end of your accounts row in the Home
