I set up a My Cloud Home yesterday and then immediately installed Plex on my devices.
Plex gave me access to my music and files yesterday on my laptop, TV and smartphone. Perfect!
Today I get an error message on all three devices when I try to access My Cloud Home.
I can still see the music tracks I listened to yesterday and can listen to them again, but nothing else.
I copied a very large amount of photos to the hard drive yesterday and this data has still been processed there for many hours. I wonder if that’s the reason? However, yesterday I was able to listen to music and watch my own films via Plex at the same time as uploading the photos.
Plex is also working on the photos: When I click on ‘Activity’ I can see that the photos are being scanned. So apparently Plex has access to the hard drive. But when I try to access the music or photo files, I get the following message:
on the laptop: Something went wrong - an unexpected error has occurred
on the smartphone: MyCloudHome is currently not available.
I’ve tried a lot of things in the settings all day and also searched here in the forum, but unfortunately I haven’t found a solution.
Perhaps someone nice is reading this and can give me a tip on what else I can try to get access again.
