I have trouble adding some documentaries despite including Thetvdb # and following the other rules. I must have ADD because I struggle with going from the Thetvdb page to the files to doctor them up. I have no issues with most additions, but some are intractable.
What if you could select the file in Plex, aim it at the info on Thetvdb, and then get Plex to touch up the file name and structure?
I’m not quite sure I understand what you’re trying to suggest.
You can already manually Match items which Plex fails to match (or Fix Match some bad assignments).
There’s an existing suggestion discussing an option to automatically rename/re-organize files/folders… if that’s what you mean.
As for the documentaries in question… are those actually tv shows or are they listed as movies on TheTVDb?
