I am confused on how does it work. i went in and made new filter for twilight but they are not in year order , also the only way one would know how many are in collection is by selecting the filter> Can’t plex pick up collection and play in correct order?
I am just missing concept and not sure how it really works,. thanks in advance
You aren’t missing context. You are missing a feature that hasn’t been completely fleshed out yet.
This is (we hope) a first step to what has been asked for. In theory making a collection of 2-10 movies should replace those icons in the library with a collection icon. Then to “drill down” to the individual show, you click on that icon and it takes you to something similar to how TV shows work, with all of the movies listed there. In theory we should be able to view them by release dates, or by some other preset order when the collection is first made. (Example is Star Wars, where the release date isn’t the order of story flow. Some might want to watch by release, some might want to watch by story flow.)
Hopefully this is coming. What we have now is just a “first pass”.
