Naming specials that are part 1 and part 2 on Bluray/DVD, but only show as one episode on thetvdb

I am trying to rename Star wars Rebels Star Wars - Rebels The Siege of Lothal. on THETVDB it shows as only one episode, but the bluray I ripped it has it as a part one and part two. Without joining my video file, how can I get this to show in plex correctly and be able to see the entire episode.

Additionally, is there a way to have the specials appeared within the correct season and the order in which they were aired?

You could use the stacking option, so that Plex considers it as one file with two parts and automatically plays the second part after the first.

Something like this should work:putting it in a Specials or Season 00 folder
Star Wars Rebels
…\ Season 00
…\ Star Wars Rebels - S00E12 - The Siege of Lothal.pt1.mkv
…\ Star Wars Rebels - S00E12 - The Siege of Lothal.pt2.mkv

I have never used the stacking method, so I really don’t know how well it works. I usually join files using ffmpeg or MKVToolnix.

I think the only way they appear in the proper order is from “On Deck” That is, the specials will play in the correct order, but there is no way to show the actual order of the episodes (if that makes sense…)

I had to do something similar with Titanic movie. It works pretty well.

I do that all the time and it works pretty well. The only problem I am having is when there is more than 10 parts (original Doctor Who). Still haven’t fixed that problem

This is weird. “Spark the Rebellion” is showing as 1 file 45 minutes (which is what I want)

and “The Siege of Lothal” has the little blue “2” like if there are two of the same files and can’t split them. It is only showing the episode of being 22 minutes. They appear to follow the same naming rule
