Not sure what to data to provide to explain.
Long story short, due to a power failure, I had to essentially start fresh on my WDEX4100 NAS.
After restoring all my “media” files, I reinstalled the PLEX APP on the NAS. Obviously none of the original settings, collections, etc would be on the NAS, but the PLEX hidden folders were recovered via data recovery. I followed a video to copy the “original” plex_conf files via SSH.
Upon opening PLEX (from my windows PC), the APP acted as if it was NEW and none of the original settings were accessed. The media is there, but none of my collections, etc. were there. Turned out I had failed to first remove the APP from the NAS, then copy the plex_conf files, then re-install the PLEX app.
After following the instructions correctly this time, I now am unable to configure PLEX because it is “Unable to Connect”.
I have tried instructions with the following articles with no change in the situation:

Can somebody help?
