I am migrating from a DS416Play to a DS423+ due to transcoding capabilities.
Is there a recommended path how to migrate my Plex database so I retain all information?
Move an Install to Another System
If you skip copying preferences.xml, you can run both systems simultaneously (see Copy Additional Server Settings From the Source System section of support document).
