NAS server "unavailable"

Server Version#: 1.40.2.8395
Player Version#: 10.14.0.541

Issue is when I run Plex Player on Android, my server (shares on NAS) become unavailable.

Running Plex Server on a fairly new WD MyCloud EX2 with OS5, just updated. Tried a reboot of NAS and tablet. Updated Player on Android tablet. Turned off VPN. Still no access, but I can access NAS from Android Files.

Have not had similar issues on either of my TV sets running Plex. Also run Plex on Windows 10 PC, mostly to manage files (folders, format, titles, metadata, etc).

I am sure I have tried everything they offer on Troubleshoot.

Any advice much appreciated.

Can you please provide your PMS Logs?

I assume this is the correct file, thanks

Can you provide logs from your Android device where you are seeing the issue?

According to your help page, I need to reproduce the error and only then get the debugging log. It is currently working, maybe because I have Plex running on my PC as well? One of my friends has the same issue accessing my shares on his iPad Pro as well.

Based on your logs it would appear that you do/did not have Remote Access enabled or your server is having an issue establishing Remote Access.

When the issue is observed on these devices, are these devices attempting to access your server remotely (not on the same local network as the Plex server)?

I believe this may have resulted because I installed and had running Plex Media Server on both my NAS and my PC. The server connected fine as long as the PC was running. I deleted Server from PC but my shared device now is always offline.

I believe my share name was referring to Server on the PC linking the share to it’s access point to the NAS, not direct to the NAS.

Do I need to start all over again to create the orrect share? Any help much appreciated.
