Navigation bar is broken

I filed the original problem report and I checked the “Solution” box when I found an easy workaround that solved the problem completely and that also fixed another problem I hadn’t reported. I prefer that Plex engineers work on improving the product rather than chase compatibility problems on every browser on every legacy system. If using Chrome doesn’t fix this problem for you, please say so.

Yes, it works in Chrome, but I don’t use Chrome for anything else. IMO, forcing users to switch browsers is not a fix. I guess I’ll have to live with this workaround.

I also have this issue and don’t want to use Chrome, Google installs too much updater and other tasks in the mac system ;-(

MacBook Pro, Early 2011
macOS Sierra 10.12.6
Safari 12.1.2
Current working PLEX APP VERSION: 1.24.4

Same ISSUE-BUG seen here. I assume since both my computer and MACOS are now old, the Plex team can’t test these new releases. I tried a sever update awhile back, and had issues, and was lucky enough to be able to reinstall the previous working version, after lots of hours of work.

Decided to NEVER blindly update anymore, but instead boot from a clone drive, and test the install that way. Saw the error message, NO BAR, as others described above.

As I’m not planning on buying a new computer, I won’t be updating my Plex app anymore, and hope the 1.24.4 version continues to work. I’m pretty sure these issues are the now old Safari 12.1.2 version, last one for the Sierra OS.

@rsvi0

See my two posts above.

Consider updating to High Sierra if supported by your system.

Maybe someday, right now upgrading would break other things. Thanks.
