Need Help Defining Path to Add Synology (716+) Media Files to Plex Library

As a result of an unknown issue, my media files stored on my Synology NAS became “unreachable” for Plex. After some work, my NAS now appears to be connected to Plex (green lock sign) and remote access is green checked. However, when I try to add the content in my stored “Movies” and “Videos” NAS drives, Plex tells me there is nothing there. Except that in the “Add Library” Plex window, Plex is clearly seeing my Movie content: https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ai3VusDaJ_5kga1zpY5SuQ_eVmdspg?e=f5kkNE. I suspect the problem is that I am incorrectly defining the “add folder” path to the contents of my folders. In File Explorer, my “Movies” drive path is Movies (\192.168.x.xxx) (Z:) where Z is the drive letter for my Movies folder and the x’s are the rest of my NAS IP address. How do I incorporate this drive path into the Plex “add library” box so the contents stored in this folder/drive are added to the Plex library? Please be as specific and simple as possible as I am a bit dense on this stuff. N.B. I have already enabled the requisite “Shared Folder” permissions to give Plex “read” access to my media folders stored in my NAS. If there is anything else I am doing wrong, let me know. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your quick and helpful reply trumpy81. I am not trying to share files on the PC for use on the NAS: all the media files I am attempting to add to my PMS are on my NAS. These files are visible as mapped drives on my PC to allow me to work with them from my PC but the files themselves reside on the NAS and are already set up as Shared Folders in the DSM Control Panel. So I do not have to create Mounted Folders on the NAS linked to the PC. Following your suggestion, however, I went through all of the Shared Folders and my user account to ensure R/W permissions and voila my files are now being added to PMS. So problem appears to have been solved. Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it.
