Can’t add media to libeary

I am trying to add media to my plex library. I have all my files on a Stnology nas. On my nas I have a folder called movies. In the folder I have 3 sub folder called home movies, movies and other movies. In those three folders are my actual files. When I try to create a library all I can see is the synology file structure. I can see my movies folder but I can navigate to the sub folders which have the movie files in them. So all I can select is the main movie folder. Of course plex doesn’t see the files because they are in sub folders. I can call tech support for an easy answer and every online video I find they seem to have no problem finding file on different drive under multiple folders. For some reason I can’t browse my folders. I am soooooooooooooooooooo frustrated, especially not being able to talk to someone. Is there anyone out there that can help this fairly tech savy somewhat intelligent person bad spelling person get my damn movies into plex!!! Thanks
