Need Help getting PlexAmp to work

Server Version#: 1.19.3.2843
Player Version#: 4.30.2

Hey Guys and Gals,

Somewhat of a noobie here and I am having trouble getting PlexAmp to open. I am just using a small PC with an external HD that has all my media on it. I have been using Plex Media server for a few years now with no problem but I just signed up for the Plex Pass so I could use PlexAmp but can’t get it to work. I downloaded and installed PlexAmp. When I try to open the app I am told I need to sign in to my Plex account even though I am already signed in. I click on the link to sign in and it opens up a page in my browser and logs me in (again). After logging me in it says I can now close that window. Then I go back to the PlexAmp app and I get a message that says “No Servers. We couldn’t connect to any servers. This may indicate a network issue.” And won’t let me sign in. Like I said I am signed in to my Plex Media Server account but it says it can’t find the server. If anybody knows what I need to do to get this working please let me know. I am not super knowledgeable with network stuff so thanks in advance.

Do you already have a music library? If so, then it’s likely all of the following are true:

  1. You have “secure connections required” on the server.
  2. You have DNS rebind protection on your LAN.
  3. Your router don’t do (or has disabled) NAT loopback.
  4. You don’t have remote access enabled (possibly).
