I’m running Version 1.9.0.4252 with the same issue
1.9.1 also had transcoder fixes in the update. Try with 1.9.1 and see if it is resolved. If not then logs will probably be needed as a starting point.

Spoke too soon.
The shows I had scheduled to record last night didn’t record. The show I just selected to record looks like it’s recording and I scheduled one to record in 10 mins so we will see.
ok the one I said to record now did record but the one I schedule to record gave me this error: An unknown error occurred
Can you post logs along with the shows in question that you scheduled as well as the one you selected, with start times/end times for each show.
I heard a rumor that anything above 1.7x was buggy with recording.
Any and all shows and where is that file you want?
ok so I just hit record on a show that is on now and it’s recording…I also selected a show that starts in 20 mins.
Settings/Server/Help - Click the download log button. Please include show information as well as start/end times. Helps to try to narrow down searches in logs.

Looks like the show is setup to only record “New Airings”. I did see see a few entries that appear to be scheduling recordings:

So it looks like a recording was supposed to happen at 21:00 last night. Unfortunately logs do not cover that time period, they end at 15:38 yesterday afternoon. Did the Whose Line Is It Anyway? - E14 - Marisol Nichols that aired at 21:00 last night record? If not can you post a new set of logs so the attempt to record that episode can be looked at.
No it didn’t record
So it did record Whose Line Is It Anyway but nothing else.
I scheduled it to record Fox News at 7, it’s now 8:05, and it didn’t record.
I see the following entries in the log:

yes it is and I watch it all the time
There is an issue with Fox 35 that is for sure!!!
