So many of you are probably struggling with this. I have a few things setup, allowing my elderly parents to watch some of my content, however, i had my stuff pretty organized, Movies-Action, Movies-Comedy etc… etc… after Plex’s recent change to showing a recently added, my library is a mess and i REALLY don’t want to merge ALL my movies in to one heading.
Has anyone found a fix, other than the remove Automatically Manage content?! which works on the web interface but does NOT work on an android, and many other playforms? I am desperate and have looked everywhere for a fix, or maybe even a server side switch for god’s sake.
Who the hell at Plex thought this is a good idea?!

There seems to be two camps of users. Those who want recently added as a combined hub of all movie and tv show libraries. Then another camp who wants separate hubs for each library. There are valid points for both use cases but the Plex dev team has to figure out how to approach both methods. I won’t poo poo on your setup of entirely separate libraries as that’s how I have my own server setup the same but I do have another server for my mother at her house displaying the new combined hub, which is actually her preference. Even though I don’t like it I think Plex team needs to keep ironing this out til we can get to a happy medium.
I just wish there was a switch. The way I see it, it impacted the camp of yours like yourself and myself more, becase suddenly our libraries just do not work and we have to change them all to make them work.
Part of my issue isn’t that it gives you a recently added per movie category, but that it just says the following
“Recently added to movies”, EVEN if the category is named Movies - Action, I even tried Action Movies, it STILL just says recently added to movies, which is unhelpful at all!
