Need support to add DLNA Player to Plexamp

Server Version#: 1.18.5.2309 on Synology
Player Version#: 4.9.2 on iOS 17.1.2

First of all, I would like to say that I only want to stream music in high quality (16/24bit) to my DLNA devices.
So please don’t give any tips about bluetooth or airplay :wink:

Contrary to other dlna player apps, with Plex (webUI or Plexamp) I only see my iPhone as the “receiver”. None of my other devices are displayed there.

For comparison, here is the list that e.g. Jellyfin shows me.

I do not have a firewall active and no other VLANS.

What do I have to set to make these devices visible?

I don’t think you’ve missed anything (except maybe almost 4 years of server updates).
Plex clients don’t currently act as DLNA controllers, so they cannot stream to some regular DLNA clients.

I guess some of that is to avoid discussions like „why can’t I use feature XYZ when streaming to client A [DLNA], when it’s working fine with client B [Plex companion]
