"Need to be signed in and connected to the Internet to refresh a plex music library."

Player Version#: Version 4.34.4

I am running Plex on a QNAP NAS. I am running the latest version.

When I navigate to my libraries and click “Scan Library Files”, I get the message “Need to be signed in and connected to the Internet to refresh a plex music library.” But it is clearly connected to the Internet and signed in. I’ve tried scanning the library files from Plex Web and the Plex iOS mobile app, both produce the same errors.

I also see this error in the logs but I don’t know if it is related or not: “MyPlex: attempted a reachability check but we’re not yet online.”

Lastly, I checked the Plex Status page and it is all green so if there is an issue on the remote side of things, the status page does not indicate that.

I rebooted my QNAP NAS and that appears to have resolved the problem. Not sure if that was the correct course of action, but it’s done now and working
