Hi plex is recording a show for me, but it always gets the episode number wrong. I’ve got the latest version of Plex running with an hdhomerun prime and a Comcast subscription. Since it gets the episode wrong during recording, all the meta data is wrong as well.
I’ve tried to update the meta data but I can’t figure out how to change the episode number. Can you not do that through the Plex interface? Thanks for any help, this is sometimes maddening.

Can you share what show this is? and Season/Episode?
Cause if this is an EPG issue it needs to get reported here so that the whole community can benefit from the fix.
Since TVDB and other online providers and Gracenote are not always in sync these things can happen and cause a mess for an end user. This is a good example of that issue and I believe that one got fixed on the TVDB side.
Also you can manually rename any file you want to be “Show Name - SXXEXX - Episode Name.ext” and it will update the reflected Season/Episode info in plex but again if this is a bigger issue better to get it fixed right the first time.
