Needs to fix some common issue with MKV and SRTs/subtitles, perhaps after update?

I had both Roku Ultra and Express and desktop updated lately.
On Roku Ultra, I noticed slightly choppy in MKV file (only less than 2GB file) while using SRT, I would say it occurs 4-6 per a minute of video. I turned off subtitle, it seems fine without SRT. And I tested Express with same file, video looked smooth with SRT.

Last winter, I did play MKVs file of same content (TV shows) with embedded subtitles. The problem was, it kept buffering and I had to disable Direct Play, I think, it played without buffering but low quality. In a few past years, there has been same problem with SRTs, maybe it happened after updates sometimes, which this is reason why Plex is best, especially subtitles and easy access.

Can you make subtitles more focused priority during development process?
