Netgear ReadyNas 104 Plex 1.20

Server Version#:1.20.1.3252
Player Version#:NA

Hi all…

I have a ReadyNas 104, installed the correct arm7 app…and i can get to http://ip_addess:32400/web pagea and allows me to continue with my login.
However, I cannot find any way to put my credentials anywhere on that server…to be able to claim it so i can see it on my login.
It’s not showing in my device list on approved devices… but there is no way to claim the damn thing…
I’ve tried to toggle the server app itself within netgear nas admin… and also restart the nas numerous times…

I’ve searched everywhere… there is just no means to claim the server.

Can anyone please help…
TIA…

There is no help for RN anythings. I’ve posted several times about my RN214 not being able to shut down Plex. No answers…I finally had to buy a cheap Dell XT3 to run my server on via windows. So good luck with your issue!

Marvellous…

All i need to know is “how to claim/register the server when i can’t see a menu”

It’s crap that i can’t get any help on here…specially as it’s a plex issue…not a server issue.

Did you ever fix your RN214 issue?

I’ve fixed mine… took a lot of digging…and it’s now sorted.

Gave up, no support here or at Netgear/Readynas. Put my server on a windows PC. I’m done with trying to fix a bug that no one even wants to acknowledge.

OK… well. if you re-install… and need to fix… (specially the part where you can’t register the server to your account and get it to the pages to setup your libraries… Hit me …and i’ll message you to run you through what you need to do…

I had to trawl the web… and found a route to do it…

Thanks and glad you got it sorted out! My problem was I couldn’t STOP the server. Updates failed to install. Someone asked why I would want to stop it. I feel like if I can’t stop it then there might be other bugs that just haven’t surfaced. So to err on the side of it being reliable, I switched to Windows. Tell you one thing…I won’t ever buy any more Netgear products nor will I ever pay for Plex. Support is important, at least to me.
