How can i add this to my iis? Can someone Tell me that step by step? I have only Running my ftp via iis.
Installed it on a philips 47pfk7509.
Basically it works. It is the layout on the right which seems aligned incorrectly. Some categories are placed outside the screen, and they do not align with the marker in the center of the screen.
It is a great initiative, though!
The way I got it work is to simply browse to the URL, use my internal IP address of the PlexMediaServer and it works.
If the alignment thing is fixed, it seems a pretty decent way to use Plex on my TV.
Unfortunately the projects seems dead.
Any news about the NETTV Plex app
Where can I download the app
have little knowloegde to install it
can someone give me step by step
This looks very interesting, although maybe not going anywhere?
I'm waiting on delivery of a Philips 7809 and was hoping to find some kind of native Plex app. Doesn't looks like that exists, and I have it running through an Apple TV with PlexConnect so not a major issue, but then stumbled across this.
I've set-up a FreeBSD jail on my FreeNAS box, installed Apache and having this running in a browser on my Mac so can't see why it shouldn't work on the TV. Didn't have much look creating the necessary files using grunt through npm, but then realised they were in this thread and I just needed to copy across to the web server!
Will have a play and let you know how I get on once the TV has arrived on Friday.
How exciting :D
PS: For all the people who are just getting the Plex logo, you probably need to allow your TV IP address to access the Plex Media Server (PMS) without authorisation in the PMS - Settings > Server > Network and then Show Advanced. The IP of the computer I tested on was 192.168.168.50 so added '192.168.168.50/24' into the List of networks that are allowed without auth box. Hope that helps.
Well, as expected this works fine on the 7809. Needed to add the IP address of the web server into the 'allowed without auth' box too, and whilst it's not as slick as through the aTV, it's better than the default DLNA option on the TV.
Nice to have choices :)
