Hello all. I’ve added a movie but no actors were linked. I know how to add actors to the movie using SQL always that the actor is on the DDBB. But, is there any procedure or guide to create an actor on the DDBB from scratch and link it with an image ? Thanks.

If it doesn’t exist, create it. But make double sure that it is actually a movie and not a special of a tv show (=series) or several episodes of a tv show combined.
They also provide a relatively easy way of adding actor records.
Hello, sorry. Maybe i was wrong with my explanation. What I meant is : Normally when I addd a movie to my library, I update the server and get all the metadata automatically, actors, director blabla. Sometimes it happens that the actors and cast are not added. I read an article on how to link an actor to this movie using the SQL Editor, always that this actor is already on your library. But if it the first time that this actor is appearing in my library, It’s not even on the DDBB. How can I created the actor from scratch on the SQL ?
Don’t do that. It’s highly volatile and not worth the effort.
Do it as I suggested above. That way also other people can benefit from the metadata.
(Unless of course that what you have is an actual movie and not some private video.)
Ok, but the movie is a really famous movie and it has the cast and the crew completed on TMDB. Don’t know why it’s not expoted.
Then it’s quite likely that Plex was unable to match it up to the official one on TMDB. Double-check the filename of your movie matches that in the following article on naming your movie files:

Do you have your library configured to prefer embedded metadata – possibly with some bad / conflicting embedded metadata inside your mp4 video file?
Also… what agent do you have set for this particular library (check ⋮ > Manage Library > Edit... → Advanced > Agent)
The movie itself appears to be properly listed on Plex. Searching https://watch.plex.tv for “Agárralo como puedas” will bring up the entry for The Naked Gun with all its metadata and cast details for me. That means the Plex Movie agent should find it as well.
Hi. Finally it’s fixed, you gave me an idea. I added the cast in a metada editor to the mp4 file and they’re now shown on Plex. Thanks !!
