Correct. The features we all came to love are now gone and we are told to just ‘get over it’. I am pretty shocked by the lack of customer service professionalism.

Does anyone know when they will allow features like ‘Skip Intro’ and other Plex Pass functionalities for users who don’t have Plex Pass on TV? For me, it’s still locked and says that Plex Pass is required.
No. Those features will remain behind a pay wall until you purchase a Plex Pass, which is purposely meant to unlock those features. Just like most things many have already experienced, features/perks can, have and WILL be discontinued even under the Plex Pass features, and MAY or MAY NOT be guaranteed to make it out of Plex Pass altogether. Not all features were meant to be given freely on the basic tier from the beginning. If your account does not have a PLEX PASS indicator, you don’t get that feature. Simple as that.
The new app broke Skip Intros / Credits (manual and auto) for me. Sleep protection too. I loved using these features and now they do not work at all.
My sleep protection has always been set to 2 hours. I fell asleep watching a show last night and woke up to it still playing and now and entire season ahead. lol
I also feel very upset about this app upgrade, that was forced on me. I have plex lifetime pass, but will no longer recomend that to other persons. Some upgrades must be opted in, not forced on customer, and removing features. Please enable to download previous version on app.
