New Development - Opera TV App Store (Tivo, Sony TV, Samsung BluRay, etc.)

Ok. Try this version. Its a bit more buggy (especially with seeking), and has  less features (i.e. no myplex), but it includes my custom MPEG-DASH player, which may make it more compatible.

Also, now I feel like I am hijacking this thread. I guess I'll start a new thread when I have a chance.

No longer appears on the 200% zoom as before. Now to test some episodes of Big Bang Theory and Alcatraz in MP4 format and the X-Files series in AVI the following message appears. "This browser does not support video streaming" What can I do? Thanks for your help.

Test performed on Opera TV Store and TV by default opera browser, does not recognize the operaTV Store from Sony TV.
https://github.com/ntlord/PlexTivo/tree/dash plays all formats I have tried mp4, mkv, avi...
It hurt 720p, but is a great job, thanks !!!

Can i get access?

Dear Reference

i'm very interested in plex for opera smart tv hi sense xt880

The project is dead?  :(

I didn't see this post before I set my Plex server up with my Sony BVD-E3100 with the now infamous Opera TV store.

I didn't find the PLEX app of course but my server runs fine through the Blu-ray theatre system. It shows up as a
server just like Media Player does in videos, music, and photos. I would rather have the app with the fancy posters

and info but the filename does just fine in most cases for me so an app really isn't required.

I do hope they have plans to add one in the near future. Not a hack of course but a regular Plex app with features

like the web app.

I know this probably doesn't help anyone but I am here if I am needed for testing or whatnot.

Thanks,

I'd be interested in an Alpha/Beta test of a Plex app. - I have a Samsung HT-H5500 3D Blu-ray HiFi system with 5.1 surround sound. It has the Opera TV Store. :-)

I would love an app for Opra TV App Store

I have a Samsung BD-H5100 Blu-Ray Disc Player.

and would be more than glad to test it out if you get any more slots availabe

Thanks

Matt

Anyone know the source of this?

P.D: confirmed https://plex.tv/downloads ;)

Hi,

Just seen this as well but I can't find it on the OPERA TV Store, I search PLEX and there's no results. Any thoughts ?

Cheers.

I don't see it in my Tivo's Opera Store either.

One of those articles mentions that it may not appear in all devices' Opera Stores right away.  Guess we'll have to wait and see... :-)

The app is there, "Plex Pass" only for now (but that doesn't affect the appearance).

Running the app first ask you for a PIN code, and were to get it, that registers the device on plex.tv .

I don't have a Plex Pass so I don't know how good it looks.

The app is there, "where"?  What model Tivo do you have?

I found it in App Store. It doesn’t really work all that well, haven’t been able to play movies, it only takes up part of the screen, still very much a beta.

That device’re using Tochill?

Waiting for this for my Tivo. Cannot see this in the App store. I also did a search, no luck. I bet they pulled it for now. I hope it comes back.

I also find the plex app in my 40w605…
