I used to use the sync feature a lot for trips. It mostly worked. One time, everything I downloaded would fail, so I just cleared everything and it was able to download the entire list again. So I was def able to download/sync movies to watch offline previously. I purposely bought a 1TB memory card for my tablet for this.
But with this new Download feature, I was able to download a bunch of movies.. but it refuses to download a list of 40 movies and TV shows I am trying to add. I have removed and re-added them a large number of times and it hasn’t fixed the issue.
Nothing to add to help, I just want to vent at how frustrating this all is. I cannot understand how Plex still has not figured out how to make downloads work consistently. This has been a frustration since I started using Plex years ago, and it still is today. Plex works great if you have an internet connection, but trying to take things offline is often an exercise in futility.
