New files are not added - weird issue

I am scratching my head over this, not sure where else to turn. Hoping someone can give me some insight. I tried searching the forums for a bit but couldn’t seem to find an answer.

I setup a new Nvidia Shield Pro with Plex.
I had been running Plex on Win10 PC as server for the past year so all my file names and structures were good.
The shield Plex version is updated to the newest version (as of last night)
On the shield I have 2 external HDD running 3 libraries. Both drives have the requisite “Nvidia_Shield” folder that I have put my libraries in.
One drive has Movies and Relaxation Videos library folders.
The other drive has a TV Shows library.
I had everything configured and running great on the shield for the past few weeks until about 2 days ago.
(not sure if it is related, but there seemed to be a lot of talk about authentication issues that day)
When I move new movies to be added, they transfer over my network from my Win 10 Pc no issues. I can see the drives, have checked that permissions are correct.
When I manually scan the library (the way I have always done it) using app.plex.tv login, it scans for a short period and then stops…nothing new added.
I tried to invoke a scan using Plex on the shield, same result.
As a test I put another video in the other folder on the same drive…same result. Scans but doesn’t add anything.
However, I add a new TV episode on the other drive (TV Shows) library, it scans correctly and picks up the new episode and shows everything as it is supposed to be in Plex. (hence my confusion)
I am at a loss, when I use Plex on the shield it works flawlessly as normal, I can see and watch all content from both external drives.
It just wont scan and add anything new to the one drive after moving the files and running the scan.
I have moved new Movies to it in the past week and it worked. Just not in the past few days…
I also checked the “scan automatically” and new items will invoke a scan but not pick anything up.
Any suggestions on what to check next would be greatly appreciated.

Here was the solution, database corruption. This fixed it for me thankfully…
