Relax, it is only Plex. The world has bigger issues currently than watching TV.

I mean like not important enough to yell at people here or start swearing.
And you probably have other options for media consumption than Plex, no? Or you can use a work-around or whatever…
You could get a Netflix subscription or test emby. The options are countless.
i mean…some people only have what they have, not everyone can just up and get a subscription to a streaming service, or “test” emby (even though they charge you for clients)
Personally, I have other ways of viewing my media but I do understand the frustration for sure, it’s been over a month now, and this problem hasn’t been fixed.
I understand being unhappy, but obviously work is done so there is no reason in yelling and swearing at people, that is my point.
And surely everybody has enough money for Netflix, especially since the first month is free 
Every month could be free - I still wouldn’t pay for a service that is so consumed with desire to bash me over the head with an endless stream of blasting audio and flashing trailers and clips for things they want me to watch, and if I do find something, they can’t wait until the credits are over - so they shrink those to the point you can’t see them while the Media Strangulation/Strong-Arm-Tactic continues.
Netflix Streaming can kiss every square inch (centimeter, for you EU types) of my @SS - and I tell 'em so every two years or so, by re-instating that service for ONE MONTH - then turning it back off for another two year wait to see if they ever came to their senses.
I get why people are ready to riot.
If all I had was a FireTV that Plex has rendered useless - I’d be mad - no, I’d be “Rip off my shirt on the Jerry Springer Show” Mad. <— that’s mad…lol
I use my devices and clients to Stream Plex EXCLUSIVELY.
I might watch Sky News or NHK World for a few minutes a month, but every other media minute is spent in close contact with Plex - and nothing else.

used it for about 4 hours and had no player problems…
Played a movie and a few different episodes…
still have a problem with the watched status not updating on screen.
if you move to another library and return then it does update…
