New iMac cannot find server

Server Version#:Version 1.18.1.1973-0f4abfbcc
Player Version#: 32400

Need to try and make this simple for me. I’ve been using Plex for several years with no problem. Updated to a new iMac yesterday, going from Sierra to Mojave. Installed the app, and all my devices are there, but they cannot find the server. I am running up-to-date versions. I’ve tried signing out and back in, getting nowhere. It just keeps saying the server is unavailable. Appreciate any help.

I’m not exactly sure… when you say you updated to a new iMac… is that the machine running your Plex Media Server?

I’ve read that by moving to a new Mac, Plex will recognize it’s on a new hardware which can cause some trouble.
Question:
Can you access the server via Plex Web from that iMac (e.g. https://127.0.0.1:32400/web or https://localhost:32400/web or https://[iMac’s IP address]:32400/web)? – including the server settings?

You might want to check out this support article. It describes how you can re-link your server properly with your account in 3 steps (for each, there’s OS specific instructions… so make sure to follow it to the end  )

If you have just migrated your older mac backup to the new iMac. You will need to re-link your Server’s Libraries to your storage files.
