I had to install a new windows 10 and ever since I did I noticed that even though my settings are for automatic updates whenever I add/delete a file AND every 30 minutes Plex is doing neither. Also the semi-circular update button is no longer for doing it manually and it’s getting frustrating.
Ideas?
Is your media stored locally to your computer or on an external drive of some type?
Note: In most cases, this should work for content on local filesystems. It will generally not work for network shares mounted via SMB, NFS, AFP, or similar.

For the Update Library function; click on the ... next to the name of your library in the left side menu. The function is located there now.
Media is in the same external hard drive, same folder as before, it’s just not updating at all when I add or delete media like it used to.
