New install not working: "There was an unexpected error loading this library" persistent

Previously installed Plex Server on Alenware 17R4 with just a few TV shows and one video, and libraries were OK, . However, I hadn’t captured the meta data correctly so I decided to do a clean install.

Followed documented procedure. Deleted everything including files and registry entries, then reinstalled. Only have a Movies library with two movies in it. Now I get the “unexpected error” message and nothing I do fixes the problem. Have tried the advice found on this forum such as reloading meta data, analyzing libraries, etc. Cleaned and reinstalled from scratch three times, trying different configurations (e.g., media on internal vs. external hard drive). Nothing works. Any advice from the experts greatly appreciated!

Try with the latest 1.15.1 server build or 1.14

I can’t find anywhere to download an older version.

Never mind. I found an old copy herehttps://plex-media-server.en.lo4d.com/download/mirror-ex1. reinstalled and it seems to be working. Thanks much!
