Need help with what Version of Plex for DS720+ to install on DS720+.
Any recommends before I install or after would be much appreciate. Using for Home Theater 4k Movie storage

Recommendations:
Create shares for your media using names meaningful to you.
Don’t use any pre-defined Synology shares - They conflict
After installing but before setting up library sections, Control Panel - Shared Folders - Give user Plex permission to read the media.

Proceed with the rest
a. Download and install the X86_64 version from plex.tv/downloads.
b. Package Center – Manual install (upper right)
c. Give it the SPK file you just downloaded.
BIG TIP: Follow the below post to fix PLEX Transcoder issues that you will run into with your DS720+. I am assisting a friend setup her plex server on a DS720+ dedicated as a PLEX server. we ran into an issue where MPEG4 videos would not play on devices that didn’t have native support for that format indicating a transcoder issue. It has took me quite a while to fix this issue since my server (DS918+) didnt have this issue. the videos would load indefinitely and never play. Turns out the driver being used in DSM for the intel HD graphics built into the processor is trash and doesn’t work right. the below post will walk you through forcing PLEX to use an older driver so hardware accelerated transcoding will work.
