Synology DSM Version: 7.0-41890
When I try to install any of the latest versions of Plex for Synology (version 1.24.3.5033-757abe6b4), all of them give me the error
requires DSM 7.0-40000(update 0) or older.
I don’t want to downgrade and I shouldn’t have to.
Is anyone else encountering this issue?

Make sure you are using the DSM 7 version of Plex Media Server from plex.tv/download.

I am having the same problem trying to install DSM 7.0 PLEX version on Synology 920+. I get the same error message. (Synology install version 7.0.1-42218)

I just fixed my problem…The error was in the download apparently. On my 4th download of the PLEX Media Server software, I got a package that was 112,890KB in size versus 112,610KB and that downloid has installed and is right now successfully updating libraries. Thanks for being there to help if needed.
