New media not appearing

I’ve notice of late new media i add to either my Movies or TV folders is not being updated. I’ve done th usual of Scan Media files or Refresh metadata but new additions fail to appear. Have even stopped the service running on the NAS along with a full reboot of it but new files fail to appear. They are recognised by another player I have.

Any suggestions on what to trya next. Example would be latest episodes of Big Bang Theory. The last one the Plex see is Episode 20 even though there are 21-24. It’s not limited to TV as it is also doing same in Movies folder.

Check that the files (or folders) you’ve added have read permissions for the Plex user.
