I am having troubles with the Metadata on my Synology DS416play DSM 6.2.2-24922 with Plex 1.18.2.2058
When I add new movies the metadata are not updated, only the movie name (file name) is transferred to the metadata. The date in the metadata, even it is in the file name, is 1900. There are no tags or other information. The poster are displayed for some movies but not all. But I can select and save the poster but it is not always automatically done.
The agent are finding the correct movie when I try to “Fix Match”. I also can edit the metadata manually.
So I don’t believe it is a permission problem on the Synology. But i have found this in the logs but don’t know what it means or how to resolve it.
OSError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: ‘/volume1/Plex/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Media/localhost/1/e09d1d5172881156ad7c82eec8dd8c5033d447e.bundle’
The Plex user has all permissions and is even admin.
I have this problem since at least 3 month and was hoping that some update or so will fix it. The last movie that worked was added 12 month ago, I did not add any new movies in the time frame between. I also performed the “plex dance” a couple of times. I changed the order of the agents and now just use one agent from each category.
I saw a lot of different people have the same issues, for some it fixed after some time, for others a new Plex version helped. But this didn’t work for me.
Can anybody help or knows what else could help.
I added the log files from today. I restarted the Synology, plex and analyzed, refreshed and fixed one movie.

The poster is not automatically displayed (minor problem)
The Title and sort title are correct, I assume it takes it from the file name
/volume2/movies/The Aftermath (2019)/The Aftermath (2019).mp4
But the date is still 1900 and all other information are blank (main issue)
I can select a poster and it will also save it but it does not do it automatically (just a minor problem)
The agent find the right movie but even when I select it manually it does not populate the metadata.
I turned off scan automatically since I read it somewhere in the forum that it is not recommended.
