I have two Nvidia Shield’s as servers. They both are configured the same way
now all of a sudden one of them is auto scanning content Im adding, when it used to not do this. When was this feature fixed? The option was always there but it never worked. Now it does all of a sudden.
Edit: both shield devices are scanning title automatically now. Weird. But one of them has the option “update libraries”. I had clicked this before but it started removing meta data and adding the wrong data. I did this with my PC PMS and my other shield, and after a day of scanning all was fine. This shield Im having issues with for some reason. I went back into the library for the moment and changed the agent to TV Movie something. Because when the new library metadata was scanning, I could not find any results when I clicked “match”.
But now when it adds movies or shows, it doesn’t add the metadata correctly like the other shield does. I changed the agents for the libraries, but it keeps asking me to I want to update the libraries to the newer one that plex is recommending. When I do that, it starts a scan and the newly stuff I add doesn’t have the metadata, posters, things like that, unless the entire thing has to re-scan and re-match everything. Is this what’s happening and why my new files look like bootleg movies added and not the correct posters and such?
