hello again friends!:
i recently created a new movie library with new plex movie agent.
…my movies are named: Avatar (2009) (1920x1080 - x264 - DTS 5.1).mkv
it’s correct and plex will read this tag ? :
Avatar (2009) (1920x1080 - x264 - DTS 5.1) {id 19995}.mkv
note the { }
aiming to 100% matching because my movies are first named with filebot
thxsss
Make that
Avatar (2009) - [1920x1080 - x264 - DTS 5.1] {tmdb-19995}.mkv
Angular brackets make the scanner ignore the stuff inside (only the first pair).
If you’re providing a movie ID number, you must make it clear whether it is an ID from IMDb or TMDB.

perfect answer !!!
it’s working this trick with plex tv series agent too ?
If you’re using the new agent, yes.
Only that the metadata sources for tv shows are TheTVDB and TMDB, but no IMDb.
And you are adding the ID to the show folder name.

perfect answer again !!!
