When playing older TV shows, plex is making the window appear the original res of the old show, I want it to fullscreen.
When setting the Resolution switching to on, its better but still nowhere near the full screen and it causes the app the become terribly ugly.
This doesn’t happen on the smart TV plex app.
Setup:
Nvidia Shield > 4k Denon Reciever > Samsung 4k HDR 75" TV
There’s a Display Mode setting that you may need to look at.
To get to it:
- Start playing a video.
- On the player control bar, go to the Action menu (far right)
- Select ‘Playback Settings.’
- Use the ‘Display Mode’ slider at the bottom of the list.
The setting persists, so it should apply to any video you play until you change it again.
