There is not possible to make new plex user with email. my friend wants to join with plex and he cannot create a new user. Plex says “Email has already been taken” But this is a brand new email address. We tried different email addresses, but always same result.

yeah im getting this too. created a new email to get a friend to sign up and it says already taken, then too many login attempts…
please fix and update
I’m trying to claim a new server and it is literally not possible. This is the kind of ■■■■ that is pushing me towards Jellyfin/Emby. Plex is self hosted, and I should be able to use it, regardless of outages on their side. Espec. when I’m a paying customer.
Same problem here.
My friend can’t join plex by opening a new plex account to access my server (login / mdp or gmail’s link or facebook’s link).
We tried different email addresses but always have the same issue : “Ce courriel est déjà utilisé”

Same problem here.
It does not register with any mail. I have tried even with a newly created email, and it does not leave the letter, that the account has already been taken.
It is being looked into. Looks like the account devs just figured it out about 15 minutes ago and are deploying a fix.
