I really appreciate the effort with the new Plex app. Thanks for not just leaving us high and dry. While it is promising there are quite a few issues. I am using a Surface Book with the performance base. Plex should aim to run as smooth as possible with the majority of the Surface line as these are so popular. Unfortunately this is not the case. The app is laggy. Scrolls real choppy. Delayed responces on inputs (touches and/or mouse clicks). Obviously it needs to be able to download movies and episodes to the SDcard (sounds like it is going to be addressed). The video player doesn’t need to pause every single time the screen is touched to bring up the controls. I juts hope whoever is in charge of this project has access to a Surface device because just using the app for 30 minutes would show them all the issues and how poorly it performs simple tasks (such as the scrolling I mentioned). Thanks for the new app…hopefully it gets better.
