New Plex app for Mac - auto update?

I just noticed there’s a 1.1 version of the Mac app, but the app didn’t suggest auto update, though it did give me the banner suggesting a server update. Is client updates not implemented yet in the new app?

Will this ever be offered on the Mac App Store to use their update mechanism?

I’m sure the update process is gonna be much better in the next few releases.
