This is a web client bug that I run into often myself but haven’t yet been able to figure out what causes it. Refreshing the tab fixes the issue.
This was there before, it’s just been renamed slightly to avoid confusion. It also will only affect content ratings going forward, the help text says it will affect release dates but that’s no longer true.

What is The Amazing Spider-Man 3 (2017).mkv supposed to be? That looks like kinda a combination of names.

you are right… I think it is incorrectly named, I do a rename via Radarr and see what happens… thanks for that! 
I’d watch it! Maybe there’s a good movie hiding in there. “The Amazing …” and “… Spider-Man …” and “… 3”.
Actually, I’m impressed that the preview agent doesn’t incorrectly match it for me. It just leaves it unmatched. Nice.
I find it weird that it matched it ok in the original agent at all… because it is totally wrong… 
I don’t remember having to manually match it at any point.
Anyway… I am solving that one by deleting and re-downloading… as it wasn’t even in Radarr… it must have just been a gift from the Plex-God

The naming is a bit ropey on that one, I must admit… might have been an early addition to the library
I don’t think this is specific to the scanner-preview release, but I’m definitely noticing it right now.
Collections “Leak” across libraries. When you view an item in Library B, you can see that it’s in a collection in Library A.
I had an all-smashed-together Batman collection in my old library. The preview agent made better Batman and The Dark Knight collections. When I look at the Batman collection in the preview library, I see the collection from my old library.
That’s actually a feature that’s been around pretty much from the introduction of Collections. It’s very useful if you have e.g. movies and tv-shows related to the same collection (e.g. Star Wars movie series + various tv-shows; also helpful with tv-shows that have a bunch of “the movie” releases)

The localized(?) naming for a bunch of Bond movies is really awful. This might be a source data issue, but … gah. No issues with old agent.

That’s a great use case for collections I hadn’t considered! It’s confusing with near-parallel Movie libraries, but it will be useful in normal life.
Cue the feature request for “Cast” searches to work across libraries and library types? Honestly the behavior of “Cast” searches is why the “Collections” behavior surprised me.
Hmm those weird titles should have been fixed, I’ll follow up on Monday.
Look at the Unmatched and Duplicates views, too.
I have looked at the unmatched, that is how I found the taking of pelham 123 movie… as for duplicates, that is difficult, as I also have 4k versions of some movies, so they show up as duplicates.

it appears, the agent has some issues where the local title is the same as the original title (or at least also something in English) – I noticed a number of movies with names starting with “The” to be mismatched (The Big Short, The Circle…) -
I’ve run in 1 German comedy where Plex gets the German poster and description but sticks to an English translation of the title (plex://movie/5d9f34f668e4c8001fb5db2b)
That particular one is now matching correctly; now I’m getting the English title for another German comedy (in a German language library) → “Fack Ju Göhte” vs. “Suck Me Shakespeer” (GUID:plex://movie/5d776a6c594b2b001e6bc875) -

After the library has been created, I can no longer access theturns out this is related to an ongoing scan/update; still feels inconsistentAdvancedtab for that library
- In my “productive setup” I have a separate library for “alternative versions” of movies (alternate cuts or movies where visual texts are displayed in different languages – like the Star Wars intro or many Pixar movies); for my Test I’ve linked both folders to the same test library – after subsequently deleting the 2nd folder, Plex sticks to the local posters of those movies (even if the underlying poster is no longer in the scope of the library)
- I don’t think it’s related to the agent… but I observed the extras are no longer alphabetically sorted… I’ve e.g. got a movie with a bunch of deleted scenes which are displayed as
Scene 3,Scene 1,Scene 6,Scene 4,Scene 5,Scene 7andScene 2 - HTML encoded special characters are displayed as that code (instead the character); e.g.
&instead of&– other special characters like Umlaute etc. are displayed ok (ä=ä,'='…) - Some of the XML detail pages (
View XML) appear to be broken; specific example has a<Extras><Video>tag with a duplicatesubtypeattribute (subtype="deletedScene") -
I need to test the new version with a different browser… after approx. 1h the bundled version of Plex Web got super slow (page takes up almost 1.2 GB of memory in Safari; reloading the page in a new tab fixed this for now)
Reminder to self… next time, configure the agent to ignore local artwork. That should make it easier to recognize the bad matches

This was matched correctly, all of the other info is correct, it just got a weird title.
“Blockers (2018)” -> “■■■■ Blockers (2018)” (yes with the **ck word)
Oh woah! Maybe that really WAS the intended title. Seth Rogen, OK, probably yes. But if so, does that mean it isn’t localized? Hahahah this one is funny.
There’s a lot of churn for numbers in titles, if they’re words vs. numerals, compared to the old agent. In some cases I think the new results are worse:
2 Days in Paris -> Two Days in Paris
Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Montana -> 3 Billboards Outside Ebbing, Montana
Sixteen Candles -> 16 Candles
There are also some where the preview agent gives better results
Twelve Monkeys -> 12 Monkeys
(500) Days of Summer -> 500 Days of Summer
I was confused about “Sticky Notes” vs. “The Backup Dancer” but I think they really can’t figure out what that movie is called.
Bad match:
“Blame (2017).mp4”. It’s actually tt4607722, but getting matched as “Blame! (2017)” tt6574146. This is one example where there’s some confusion about dates between IMDB and TMDB, but the match has an exclamation and should be “worse”. I reported this by fixing the match in Plex. In the “Fix Match” screen, the correct choice comes up as the first suggestion.
Why are “Shaun of the Dead”, “Hot Fuzz”, and “The World’s End” getting a collection called “Blood and Ice Cream”? I don’t think it’s really a collection per TMDB rules. Per natural law, I think it would be “Three Flavours Cornetto”.
