Hey, I’ve used plex happily for years. Mostly to chromecast movies to the tv.
But, wfh I’ve started to watch stuff on a windows laptop. A couple weeks ago I upgraded my desktop to deb 10, set up plex yesterday and it’s all working, app seems fine. My library is there.
Watched one movie yesterday, all was great, then set up a new one in my library and tried to watch it, but, no matter what the tab when I try to load up plex in chrome (or in edge, doesn’t matter) just spins. The title of the tab is plex, so something is working.
I have a regular web server running on port 80 there and it works.
Logs suggest that it’s waiting for authorization / login. I have tried in chrome and edge, both logged in to my gmail account and not, and it’s always the same, the web page just doesn’t work.
I do believe though that the success I did have yesterday watching the first movie was prior to logging in. But, I’m not sure.
